Garden Yummies
Looking through some pictures and found this one of some garden yummies. I think only the organic red onion is from the farmer's market and the rest came from our gardens. We had a hard year last year with the garden; the weather was so unpredictable. We had a bad frost in the spring and had to REPLANT!! Then a bad wind storm later in the year took half our garden and up rooted some of the newly planted fruit trees. The kids were pretty disappointed especially Brian who planted ALL five of the fruit trees :( In the end though we were grateful for the abundance of the farmer's market to prepare for the winter. We make a veggie mix like this every week during the summer to at to lettuce, fresh spinach, and cold pastas. Can't wait until we can start planting again!!
